As age-old "true love" gives way to modern-day "it's complicated," a five-member ensemble excavates the first self-help book on romantic love, Andreas Capellanus' The Art of Courtly Love, looking for guidance. As they get lost in its pages, their own stories weave with 12th century directives, Arthurian legend, and earnest advice confronting their contemporary expectations and illuminating the ever-hopeful human heart.
